Hello, not sure if this is the right place to put this but dh and I are very indecisive and can't decide which buggy to buy - they both seem to have pros and cons. Would love comments from people who've got experience, positive or negative of either. Thanks so much xx

The shop i bought mine from said from birth and so does toysrus, have just been on the quinny site and read the instruction manual, says that the seat unit is from birth to 4 years, HTH

i think groovystyle go by the european standards which are a bit stricter than the uk standards.

I take my bugaboo on the bus all the time. It would certainly be better than the quinny - it is slimmer and lighter.
The carrycot on the bugaboo is just that. It is not just material - it has a solid base as recommended for children up to 6 mo. Though if you are a real townie, can definitely see attraction of the Bee these days.

how do yo manage the bus with the bug?

nappyaddict · 25/04/2008 17:17

buses round here are all low-riders so you just wheel it on.

I have a Bugaboo Cameleon and love it. DD is now 3 months old and we have moved house, been to stay with friends and to hotels and we have had no need to buy a travel cot. She also sleeps really well in it for daytime naps.

It's a great drive and she is as happy as larry in it. It evens fits into the boot of our sports car! Really easy to fold once you get the hang of it and I love the way you can put a car seat on it, so no need to wake a sleeping baby.

Great for town and country. Expensive, but worth it.

I live in west London and can get on the bus at the front normally - maybe in some areas they have narrow aisles but not on my routes. I get on front wheels first and off back wheels first like handling a big kerb.
It's not as big as some others I encounter on the bus.

i never get how to do the back wheels first thing when going down kerbs/steps.
