Anyone awake !?!? 🙈

im 35 weeks now, and wide awake pretty much during every night, I fall asleep ok i just wake up 3 or 4 hours after falling asleep then that's me awake for a few hours during the night. eventually i do drift back off to sleep but im only getting 4 or 5 hours quality sleep. Its wrecking me at the moment alongside back/pelvic pain. The tiredness is affecting my emotions big time.

It feels like my body clock has just got used to this routine now, it's been this way for at least 2months now 🙈😩

Has anyone any tips to maybe try and help ???

I suffer with this with every pregnancy. It's killer. I've been taking an extra dose of magnesium and it's helping I think.
Other than that, it's just finding ways to put you to sleep. Sometime I read but that can take up to 5 hours to fall back to sleep sometimes 30 minutes
Sometimes I put on a podcast or some crap background noise on some headphones and turn the phone away and I'll fall asleep with that playing besides my head. This one works best for me and only take about an hour, sometimes I just get up and go about the day a bit earlier, do some laundry, maybe a workout 😅
Hopefully it eases off for you soon xx

Magnesium supplements have helped me, and doing short yoga videos. I had been swimming which really helped but that’s got a bit too hard at 41 weeks!

Yep, I had this. It's the worst. All I will say is that you will feel less tired when you actually have the baby! I was so accustomed to not sleeping, having a newborn was a doddle!

Coming up to 16 weeks and I have his. It's now 03.30 where i am and I'm wide awake yet again.
I wouldn't care but the exhaustion has been unreal this pregnancy, I could really do without being awake for hours every night!
Sending hugs to all my fellow sufferers

I had it this time but not my first pregnancy! I find that the tiniest amount of caffeine will keep me awake - even a half caf first thing in the morning means no sleep that night.

I'm 34 weeks, so the end is nigh for us 🌸
