Maternity clothes

Where is everyone shopping for maternity clothes? I'm 8 weeks and already none of my clothes fit, jeans are popping open, circulation is being cut off... I don't want to spend a fortune but I want things that will grow with me, so elasticated bands preferable.

A lot of my clothes (especially for work) are from
Zara but I can't justify the prices. So I'm looking for good quality, not too expensive, capsule wardrobe, autumn leading into winter.

Any help would be so helpful SmileSmileFlowers

I've always found maternity clothes really difficult, I'm quite short so brands like JoJo etc too long. This pregnancy I've discovered Verbaudet - have bought some really lovely dresses and tops online and prices good too! Also Vinted has been great for bargains (got a few Seraphine jumpers for a fiver!) but just make sure to check the clothes come from a smoke free home.

Oh I could write a book on this. I’ve sent about 20 pairs of maternity jeans back for fitting ridiculously (think they must have been designed by a man who’s never had any contact with a pregnant woman). Anyway, M&S came up trumps with their maternity jeggings. They are thick to look like actual jeans but without the stiffness and they are £19.50. I’ve got them in three colours. I would add though, I sized up one size from normal based on their reviews and they fit perfectly.

I’ve got everything in Vinted! I wore normal dungarees or dungareee dresses in the earlier months as they aren’t fitted round the belly, and most of my normal dresses fitted. Jo Jo Maman baby things are good, I found their sizing big though. La Redoute clothes are nice as well.

For leggings and jeggings I cannot recommend Lovall enough!! They are a bit pricey (£26 a pair) but I alternate between them every day. Love love love them.

I got some tops and dresses on Shein and they’ve been great!

Vinted

At this point I would buy a few bits from charity shops in a larger size, then look on Vinted.

I keep getting sponsored ads for this brand! They look great
What size do you buy and are they thick enough for winter? X

You can get fleece lined lovall leggings that are super warm and cosy!

Another vote for looking on vinted here. I've been getting Seraphine things from there that look as good as new.

Seraphine jeans I brought brand new as wear jeans all the time so could justify the cost.

I also got some jojo mama baby dresses for work events. They fit and look great, bur the fabric isn't very hard wearing so has the dresses have got pulls in them very quickly.

I also got some hoodies and a fleece jacket from Happy Mama.

I've tried to look for things that will last after the baby is born, either with nursing access or just slightly oversized that would still work without a bump.

I lived in a variety of things from Beyond Nine (off Vinted) and still wear them!

Amazon has some cheap staples on there.
