Britax Vigour 3 - Amazing it seems!?

Hiya, ive started the task of looking for the all important pushchair / travel system.

I wanted an all terrain 3 wheeler (i have horses and go on holiday often - beaches), i also wanted the facility to be able to easily clip on a carrycot and car seat without brackets / clips etc.

It seems the britax vigour has it all, it has rubber wheels instead of pump up ones so no punctures or having to let them down and blow them up on the plane!!!
The carrycot (i will use instead of moses basket at home) clips on SO SO easily as does the carseat, its easy to collapse and put up with one hand and folds down compact. Its so much smaller than alot of other 3 wheelers!

Has anyone got / geting one of these - does anyone have an opinion on them?

i also looked at Quinny Buzz but the fact that it has 2 small front wheels and u have to use clips to attach carrycot / carseat put me off. i want EASY!

Damn, I just typed a whole answer to you Kazza and got an error which wiped it all!
Anyway, just to say that we were going for the Britax Vigour 3 as, like you we want to go 'off road' and I loved the ease of clipping all the bits on and off and that it was so light.
We spoke to the knowledgable owner of our local independent baby shop who said that he highly recommends the Britax but that as they are so light they are not made for rough terrain every day
We actually ended up going for the i-candy apple jogger (3 wheeled) as it seems a little more robust and the carry cot (although a bit heavy) acts as a travel cot, whereas the Britax one doesn't (although I think there is one coming out at the end of May / June)
Good luck!

Hiya, fortunately my horse yard and paddock is flat so i dont thnk it will present too many problems, ive got a baby carier too that i can use!
On the Icandy u say about the carrycot acting as a travel cot, how does the carry cot differ from the britax one? Im off on hol in Oct and planned to take the pushchair in carycot mode to double up as bed for baby.........?
Also has the icandy got a big front wheel as someone told me that the small wheels sink in mud and sand.....? xx

I've just bought the Vigour 3 too and love it. Still got a few weeks before my due date so can't tell you how it fares with a baby on board but love the ease of putting it up and down. The lady in the shop said it was 'Grandad Proof', which I thought a fair description!

We rejected the i-Candy because it was a little bit more complicated to put up and take down, but we also seriously considered it.

Hi Kezza,
We bought the i-candy apple jogger which has a large front wheel and not the two little ones which come with it as standard. I think it's another £20 to get the jogger one, wouldn't have gone for it without a good large front wheel for offroading.
As far as I know about the carry cots some are suitable for overnight and some aren't. I think it has to do with the matress and also the ones we looked at that were described to us as carry cots had a harder base and sides whereas the Britax one didn't.
However the chap in the shop said that Britax were bringing out a travel carry cot soon so if you go for the Britax you'll be able to get this soon anyway.
Hope this help!
