Sorry this is very TMI, I plan to ask my midwife on Monday but wanted some advice! Currently 18 weeks. From Dr Google it sounds like this can occur in the second or third trimester.

Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed I have on occasion seemingly leaked some type of liquid that I think is urine. It's been involuntary but I can feel it happen, and it's a tiny bit so on my underwear looks about the size of a 10p coin.

It looks clear and I think has a urine smell but I've been drinking a lot more so it's not very obvious.

I had to get urgently seen by the MAU on Friday (all okay thankfully) and mentioned it to a midwife there, the doctor who examined me after abdominal pain in the night did check that my cervix was closed so it doesn't seem to be amniotic fluid, thank goodness.

I've not been great at keeping up with kegels, if I'm lucky I'm doing one set of 10 a day holding each 8-10 seconds but have set reminders to try and do 3 sets. I have a small bladder at the best of times and go to the loo a lot - I've actually noticed some of the times it's been immediately after I've gone to the loo, left and I can feel a tiny leak of something sudden.

Has anyone experienced similar and what were you recommended?

I did in my last pregnancy. I noticed it happened on my commute to work. It started at about 15/16weeks for me. I started adding in an extra toilet stop and it reduced it to only happen a handful of times. I think for me the walking and the water was too much. I just increased how many times I went to the toilet in general, even over night and it helped a lot. Initially I thought it was sweat but it must have been urine because the extra breaks worked.

Thank you so much that makes me feel less alone! I'll try extra breaks, I was worried I was going too much but glad that helped!

I found this when I was pregnant a few years ago. Mine start at 16 weeks.
I would see if you can get referred to a pelvic floor health physio? Even if you don't nyessarcarily need it, it can be really great and can really help you after birth.
I found mine was mainly as I was rushing around so much that I would go to the toilet and thought I'd be finished but I wasn't quite. So just take a bit more time and make sure you really are finished before you get up. This really helped me.
