Hi all,
Im 6+3wks today and have been having very mild twinge/ cramp type pains on my right side for a few days. It actually feels similar to the slight ovarian pain I would get when ovulating.
my anxious mind has jumped straight to ectopic, but I have no other signs of ectopic and the pain is not severe and comes and goes. I think I’m just worried to call the Dr as they are so overwhelmed (and the receptionists don’t hold back in letting you know, sometimes I’m made to feel guilty about making an appointment)
I guess twinges and pain is to be expected and I have a tendency to jump to the worst conclusion!
Has anyone else experienced similar and been fine? Should I give it a few more days until calling the dr?
I guess I know I’m not really going to get any definite answers here but I really get so stressed about calling the Gp as they really just make you feel like you’re being a nuisance :( I don’t have my first midwife appointment for another 17 days!

With my first pregnancy I had lots of dull type aching pains on and off on the left and right sides low down. I believe it is everything stretching out and it can be quite sore. I had it a bit with my second pregnancy but no where near as achey as my first. Towards the end of my 9 months it’s sore too, lots of ligaments down there that need to stretch and loosen up. Not medically qualified but thought it might put your mind at rest whilst you wait to see a midwife.

I had lots of mild cramps and twinges especially in my first pregnancy, midwife said it was ligaments and muscles stretching , and also some women get implantation pain.
If not severe pain (like more than mild period pain level) and no bleeding then usually nothing to worry about.

But please don't let Dr's receptionists put you off, risk of ectopic pregnancy is definitely a justified reason to call, if left too late it's a medical emergency. Also the GP might not even have to see you, they could refer you straight for a scan.
If your pain gets worse over the weekend call 111

I'm almost 13 weeks now and still have twinges on and off! Like pinching/nipping pains. I did go to the early pregnancy unit when I was 6 weeks to get it checked cause it was only on one side (I've had a MC before) and they confirmed all was fine. If you're worried deffo contact your GP and they can refer you for a scan to make sure baby is growing in the right place!
