Not quite

Why does it matter?
Won't tell you a single thing about the viability of your pregnancy

UserNameOfShame · 12/09/2024 20:23

What's a dye stealer?

Chasingbaby2 · 12/09/2024 21:18

It's when the test line is stronger than the control. I assume it's meant to be an indicator of high HCG therefore reassurance of a strong pregnancy....really misleading and a bit of an Internet fad

I was just curious that's all , I know it won't tell me anything just seen a few threads where people talk about it 👍

Fair enough, I just wouldn't want anyone to think this means anything medically. Congratulations!

I only tested once with both pregnancies. Both times about 5 days after my missed period and got dye stealers in both cases. One pregnancy gave me my daughter the second ended in miscarriage. I had hyperemesis with both pregnancies too. The first trimester is horrible for the waiting but you can't predict anything for anything other than ultrasounds

You have a good strong positive tests there be cautiously optimistic and put the tests away x
