............. YOur DP / DH does for you while you are pregnant please!

My DH works away all week every week and we have the DSDs here EOW so we don't get much quality time together!!

But, it looks as though I might have him home for a whole week - so I need suggestions of all the lovely things I've missed out on that I can get him to do while he's home!!

Oh my god, my DP is so great - I actually feel quite guilty at times All I have to do is say I'm a bit tired or feeling a bit crap, and he will make me sit or lie down on the sofa while he brings me drinks, makes tea, goes out to the shops for chocolate/random items, runs me a bath... More often than not if I say I'm going to do any of the following, he does it himself: takes the bin out, puts our wheelie bin outside and brings it back in, empties the cat tray, does the washing up. He's great at dishing out the shoulder/foot/back/leg rubs if I'm aching, and I can report a higher than usual percentage of breakfasts in bed since getting up the duff.

It is our first though, so if we have any more I expect I'll be back to toting sacks of shopping about while he plays GTA or something

Get him to do EVERYTHING! Nah, house a quick once over with a duster, essential chores you can't possibly do (trip to the loft etc) and a BIG supermarket shop. Otherwise, enjoy the time together making plans & daydreaming. Extra brownie points if he throw in a bubble bath or brekkie in bed without a prompt. My poor downtrodden DP has done everything for me and put up with my hormonal hissy fits, mostly without any real appreciation for his efforts. I don't realise how lucky I am to have hime around. Enjoy yourselves and your time together - something that I take for granted and waste.

I feel the same, really. Keep trying to think of something really spectacular to do for him to show my appreciation, but then decide that building his firstborn is probably sufficient
