Sex after c section

I had a c section 3 weeks ago, no complications after and midwife said scar is looking great and all doing well and can bath etc.
In a hormonal moment of weakness had sex this morning (unprotected- I know, I know but we have never used protection so didn’t even think of it) and he moved before he finished. I’m now panicking and the hormone mist has moved on, what’re the chances of pre-cum pregnancy? Sounds stupid to even say but everyone says how fertile you are I don’t know if this is even a thing!
I’ve seen posts say hcg levels are high for a while after birth so when would I even test to put my mind at rest? Don’t want a false positive.

I was told many of times by the midwife / HV that you are 'super fertile' after birth!

After both pregnancies the thing I was told the most by the most people is make sure you use protection because you can fall pregnant three weeks after birth. They really drum it into you here more than anything else, more than any advice they give you about actually caring for a newborn.

If it was only the once and he pulled out then the odds are probably in your favour that you won't be pregnant (not saying to use this as a regular contraceptive method but don't want to stress you out any more now!) Obviously can't say for certain though.

Are you breastfeeding? I was told my health professionals when I had my son 4 years ago that exclusively breastfeeding at this age was a fairly reliable form of contraception. This seems to no longer be the case be the recommendation and again wouldn't rely on it for future, but may mean you are less likely to be pregnant now if you are bf.

Nope not breastfeeding! I’m really hoping it was okay- certainly won’t be doing it again anytime soon!

It does happen.
It’s known as “Irish twins” where I live (two babies under a year).
Happened to a couple I know- son & daughter 11 months apart.
My own second was 14 months after the first (both c -sections).
Best wishes, OP xx

I know 3 couples with kids with 10.5-11 months between them, because of exactly this.
