Does/did anybody else have a huge problem with snoring later on in their pregnancy? It’s genuinely awful, it’s so loud and I feel so sorry for my husband. I’m due for my c section in 3 weeks and I’m anxious about keeping other mums awake on the ward. I’ve already purchased ear plugs to hand out!

Yep! Nasal strips off amazon helped me- my husband could always tell which nights I hadn't put one on.
Luckily pretty much as soon as I had the baby, my airways went back to normal and I could breathe fine again. You won't keep anyone on the ward awake more than the general hustle and bustle of a maternity ward (or staring at their baby for the first night rather than sleeping!)

I wouldn’t worry too much about other mums, they’ll be doing their own thing (and lots of them will be snoring too!) I am 39w and have been snoring for a while (and did last pregnancy), it resolves v quickly and until then, separate bedrooms with your husband if poss. Good luck!

I snored so badly in my 3rd trimester.

Don’t worry about the ward - all the mums will be that tired they’d sleep through an earthquake!

Best of luck for 3 weeks time 🥰

This happened to me, and frankly someone snoring was the last of my worries on a post natal ward 😂 little to no sleep happening anyway

New babies do a lot of grunting and snuffling noises so I wouldn’t worry about the postnatal ward. Also it will probably stop as soon as you give birth and your blood pressure goes back down to normal, if you don’t usually snore.

So normal, common and due to the pressure on your abdomen as well as your hormones causing relaxation of your airways.

Not much you can do I'm afraid! Buy your dh some earplugs and brace yourself for not much sleep on the maternity ward unless you can sleep through snoring yourself! 😅 it's loud!
