Reduced movements at 23+5

Hello! I’m on the fence about whether to go in for reduced movements. Haven’t felt baby much since yesterday afternoon and he’s usually active just before I go to bed. I am still feeling him, just not as much. I’ve got a midwife’s appointment tomorrow anyway so because it’s still early, and I am actually feeling him a bit (without the usual tricks), I’m debating it. Not worried about annoying midwives, just have a LOT to do today! What do you think?

Call triage for advice to be on the safe side as your trusts policies might be different to mine.

It's quite early and movements aren't likely to be in a super regular pattern yet. My trust wouldn't do a ctg yet but yours may just do a quick listen in to reassure.

Please just ring. It's best to be safe. A professional can advise you. Ring now. Don't wait.

Agree with the other posters, call up and get some advice.
I'm sure it's fine, it's still very early and patterns of movements will change several times as baby moves positions (this happens less as baby grows and has less room). I was told to start monitoring the 'pattern' properly at 28 weeks, but always better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks everyone. It’s a drop-in at my hospital and they won’t assess or recommend anything over the phone. I can ring but it’s a come in or don’t situation. I’ll give the community midwives a call first and see if maybe they can move my appointment to today. Worth a try.
