Maternity wear for corporate offices

Hoping for some tips! I work in a pretty conservative setting/corporate office (think suits and shift dresses). Other than Serephine, does anyone have any go to brands that cater for this kind of maternity wear? I am looking for structured pieces if possible, as floaty bits just make me look even bigger!

I would look for Isabella Oliver (possibly on Vinted). Tailoring is a problem for maternity wear because of changes in size.

I bought a couple of black tea dresses from M&S maternity wear a few years ago. With a jacket (which couldn’t be done up!) I was fairly well sorted.

I would try Vinted for maternity dresses, as I rented last time around but the site has gone under. I’m mainly wearing shirt dresses in the office, but at 8m pregnant anyway everything makes me look enormous!

I was in investment banking so quite conservative environment so just went down a sort of uniform road. Black maternity trousers, collection of maternity tops and a jacket [which was never going to close]. I think I had two maternity wrap dresses which could be worn with the jacket. That lot got me through the winter most of the way there. I think it became blindingly obvious that if you are neutral and vaguely smart it doesn't even register with people you are basically wearing the same thing day in and day out. Plus the choices are all mostly dull as sh*t anyway by the time you are obviously pregnant.
Was so sick of it all though by the end.
Gap Maternity, Seraphine, Jo Jo Maman, and a bit of M&S.

Would wrap dresses work? I’ve found those and the usual maxi dresses I was wearing previously to the office still fit really well and look smart. Otherwise black trousers plus a blouse then just a normal blazer. Agree about Vinted, absolutely loads of maternity wear on there. Just bought some really cheap bundles on there myself

Thanks everyone! Really great suggestions. Agreed that there’s very little out there generally & mostly very boring or mumsy (apt I suppose 😁but I’m used to being quite stylish so it’s killing me a little) X

I bought a few midi/maxi knitted dresses and wear with an oversized blazer - still feel like myself and not frumpy.

I think your options are much better if you are naturally tall and slim and largely stay that way bar a bump. A knitted dress and some boots will look elegant and chic. I would have just looked like a Weiner sausage. Sadly I'm not tall and while my bump stayed neat [first time around anyway] I don't have the legs to carry off the sort of maternity wear where you look completely normal from the rear and only appear pregnant from the side.

@TreadSoftlyOnMyDreams Likewise - I’m petite and seem to be getting wider, so it’s obvious from the back too. Prefer to wear fitted pieces if I can, so it’s clear I’m pregnant and not that I have just randomly put on loads of weight!

When I was last pregnant I had some lovely maternity office dresses from New Look, and H&M, I was quite surprised at how good their maternity workwear was.

Would something like this work: https://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.1203476001.html

@katmarie oh that’s lovely! I somehow missed that. I was pleasantly surprised at New Look - they have some very nice casual pieces.
