Second Trimester Plus size wardrobe problems

I am just wondering if there is anyone out there who is experiencing similar second trimester wardrobe problems and has any advice. I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant in my first pregnancy and have been experiencing horrible discomfort with everything I wear. I'm a plus size girl, normal clothes size before pregnancy 16/18, depending on the material, and have struggled to notice any size bump, only that I look like I've gained more fat around my belly and thighs. I felt very sick in the first trimester and had no appetite, so for the first three months when weighing myself I haven't gained any weight, however my belly has increased in size drastically, in the past month not just the lower part but even my top part of my belly, which makes it super uncomfortable to dress. None of my jeans/shorts/skirts are comfortable on my belly anymore, I hate how any material feels on my belly and my waist. I find lose fitting slightly cropped tops easier to wear as they don't fall on my belly and therefore don't surround it, but I am struggling so much with the bottoms. Even my underwear is uncomfortable, I find that everything give me a wedge, and the material of bras as I cannot cope with. I get very sweaty under anything that is tight fitting around my body, and my face is constantly puffy and bloated. I tried going up a size in the bottoms, but I feel that its not helping. Even loose fitting cotton shorts seem to stick to me every opportunity they get, and the waistbands are usually digging into my waistline. I don't know whether I should start buying maternity clothes or go even more up a size. I feel that because it's summer and hot, I'm finding it particular hard to dress. I can't see any distinct bump yet, as I am plus size, however I feel 15 weeks seems far too early to buy maternity clothes. Has anybody experienced anything like this and has any advice?

How about dresses and those little shorts that snag tights sell?
Completely OK to buy maternity clothes at 15 weeks if that's gonna make you feel comfortable.
Have a look on vinted for some of the nicer maternity brands at reasonable prices

I'm a similar size and also hadn't gained much weight at 15 weeks but just changed shape. I've been wearing jersey dresses, especially loose dresses; big t shirts and cycling shorts; long shirts and leggings. Basically get a couple of pairs of maternity cycling shorts and a couple of pairs of maternity leggings and just wear them with whatever loose tops feel comfortable. They will last you through your whole pregnancy but they're nice and high waisted so they wont dig into your bump. But generally anything stretchy is your friend!

But also as pp said the Snag chub rub shorts are great and don't get too sweaty!

I was a size 16 pre pregnancy with DD1 and a size 18/20 pre pregnancy with DD2 and i think you'll be far more comfortable moving into maternity clothes now. Even if your bump isnt visible, your shape will be changing so you may as well just go for it. There's loads of good stuff on vinted as well that you can pick up really cheap. I basically lived in M&S mat leggings, seraphine mat tops / dresses for work, and H&M or New Look maternity basics for casual clothes. For underwear, i bought some huge M&S knickers in the next size up and they came up my bump nicely.

Just get some maternity clothes! Look on vinted, they don't have to be expensive. There's no 'too early', you change shape when you change shape and that's that. Get yourself a load of stretchy stuff and feel comfortable.

Maternity clothes will be more comfy for you. Go for over bump styles. I lived in maternity dresses or tunics with over bump leggings with my second because I had PGP and couldn't have anything too tight around my hips.
If you buy summer styles now you can still wear them with a vest under and cardigan over when you're closer to your due date and it's colder

I was size 20 pre pregnancy and I kept wearing cheap loose dresses from Boohoo I already had and once my belly really grew I just bought some maternity jeans and dresses from Asda.
