Snoo + moses basket

I'm looking for some advice on where baby should nap during the day. I live in a terrace with loft extension so 2 flights of stairs.

I've bought a snoo, which will be in my bedroom in the loft extension. I won't want to move it for naps, but I understand baby should sleep in whichever room I'm in.

For naps during the day and early evening, where we'll mostly be downstairs, I was thinking of getting a moses basket. I can then carry the Moses basket upstairs to the nursery if I'm on the middle floor of the house.

Does that sound sensible? Are there other options?

I'll be getting a crib for the nursery at 6 months once baby outgrows the snoo and can sleep in his own room.

Thanks!

I use a moses basket downstairs during the day - I think better they sleep around some level of noise and light so get used to it. And means you can do things downstairs, whilst being near them.

Could just use the pram? I found it better than moses basket as if they’re a bit fussy you can rock it back and forth or even go for a walk round the block then park it up in the living room. Plus it pays off later when they can nap on the go and you’re not confined to being at home 1-3pm because they can only nap in the cot, in the dark.

We live in a 3 story town house. And I used a moses basket foe the first 6 months until DS started to roll over. Was great to transport him around the 3 floors.
After that he moved to cosleeping and we would settle him.next to us for naps and bedtime. It worked for us.

Due DS2 any day now and plan to baby wear and baby naps on me using a woven wrap. Hands free and able to attend to toddler amd trabsport baby easily up and downstairs.

I never had that issue with DS1. He would nap great on the go but also at home. Some kids are very fixated on one way to nap / sleep at night. But I found mixing things up helped a lot so I wasn't stuck at home or forces to go out all the time.
