Currrent in triage again with reduced movements this is my 4th baby but first time having anterior placenta and it’s scarring me to death not being able to feel her move as much sometimes I feel like such a nightmare ringing up and going in but I just don’t know when it’s normal and when it’s not anyone else had this

I'm 30 weeks and have an anterior placenta and have been in triage a couple of times for reduced movements, most recently at 28+5. Last time I couldn't believe how much movement was going on when they hooked me up to the CTG that I just couldn't feel at all - it made me feel a bit like I was wasting people's time. But you just have to remember, they would always rather you went in if you're worried so you can be checked over, because there's not much other than movements to help you know what's going on in there.

If you are feeling very anxious then you could talk to your midwife about what support you can access to help manage anxiety during pregnancy - but the worry about movements is completely understandable. I hope all was okay today and you start to feel a bit more movement as you get further along so you don't have to worry too much.

Aw I feel your pain OP! It’s so anxiety-inducing. I had anterior placentas with all 3 of mine.
