I’m about 8 weeks and I cannot stop eating absolute shite. I am only 9 months postpartum with my first baby and was just starting to feel good with my health, wellness, fitness and getting back into shape and Im sure I’ve gained it all back in the last 4 weeks alone.

Everything I’ve eaten is beige, carbs and full of salt and fat, think McDonalds, pizza, bread, crisps, rice, noodles, cereal, cheese. Im trying to eat fresh food but I can’t stomach it or even bring myself to try.

Has anyone got any suggestions for any sort of middle ground to help satisfy these cravings without so many calories/lack of nutrition. I don't even want to think about what eating all this shite is doing to the baby!

xx

Hey! Just want to say you’re not alone. I’m over 6 weeks and cannot bare to eat home cooked food or anything from my fridge. All I want is take away and fast food. I literally cannot eat any food I cook, I will vomit right away. Spending a fortune on eating out but it is the only way I get any food inside me! I’m also drinking loads of smoothies so I hope that is making up for it some how!

There are loads of us on here that went through the same thing, it's awful 🤣

I put on 5kg in the first trimester but I'm now 15 weeks and since around 12 weeks I'm back eating like a normal person and not like a possessed carb demon. It will pass I assure you.

Exactly the same here. 9 months postpartum and 10 weeks pregnant and feeling horrible. I had just lost previous weight before falling pregnant and now my eating is horrible. Hoping I'll have better control in 2nd trimester!
