Subchorionic Haematoma support

Hello!
I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and looking for some reassurance.

Two days ago I went to A&E after losing a lot of blood and having cramps. A scan showed a subchorionic haematoma. I have continued to have red and brown bleeding (not heavy as before) since. I am most worried about the pain that I have on my right side that is not calming. It is not quite enough to make me take painkillers but it is unsettling. When gently walking around the house, my tummy feels heavy and sore - almost like I am recovering from an operation - and it feels like there are weird movements happening inside.

I suppose I want to know if anyone has had a similar experience with the pain and can give insight into what to expect when recovering from a subchorionic haematoma. I guess I need some reassurance really after such a traumatic experience!

Thank you in advance!

I had a very large subchorionic haemorrhage with my 3rd child. Had bleeding on and off from 6 weeks pregnant then a huge bleed at 15 weeks like yourself. They told me mine was so large it was likely the pregnancy would not continue however she is now 6.5! I bled upto 28 weeks then it had disappeared from the scan altogether. She did arrive a couple of weeks early but was perfectly healthy. I used to get dull aches and although I already had 2 kids at home, I tried to get as much rest as physically possible. Any form of pulling/straining/lifting made the bleeding and pain increase.

I had a large bleed at 14 weeks, with a huge clot, then continued red and brown bleeding until around 18/19 weeks. My tummy also felt weird and heavy but empty at the same time. I had a scan the same day at the EPU, and then private scan at 16 and 18 weeks all of which helped my anxiety as then movements started and had the 20 week scan which put everything to rest for me. Currently 37 weeks pregnant now!
Have they said your cervix is closed and the hematoma now come away?

@SophieSummers1 no advice here but in a similar boat having had an SCH diagnosed today at just shy of 13 weeks. The bleeding has slowed down but not sure whether it will start again. It was very unsettling.

Hoping people who have come through the other side can be reassuring.

What size is yours? Mine hasn't been measured but the report says "small" which I am trying to hang onto
