Hi All, I have been extremely lucky during my pregnany as I have had no sickness and have felt pretty perky, I am now 26 weeks its my first child.

However on 2 days over the last 10 days or so I have felt extremely miserable and have burst into tears for no reason.

Anyone else felt like this? Is it all the subconscious thoughts coming out? As I am not consciously worrying about things.

Please let me know I am not going bonkers!!!

I spent most of my pregnancy crying at the drop of a hat. It was like 9 months of PMS. Completely normal I think.

oops.

Same here - and it hasn't stopped, six years and two dds later! Cried at anything when pg and am hyper-sensitive about the most ridiculuous things now am a mum. Get used to it! It's perfectly normal.

CountessDracula · 09/04/2008 13:38

Tis your hormones dear!

I used to cry at anything!

Oliveoil · 09/04/2008 13:40

I cry at anything and I am not pregnant

it is your pesky hormones

I remember crying because I forgot to buy apples when I was pregnant, dh thought I had lost the plot

Moomin · 09/04/2008 13:42

When I was pg I cried all day after seeing an alsation in the park whose back legs had given out and it was dragging one of those little wheeled trolleys behind it.

kayzisexpecting · 09/04/2008 13:44

I cry at loads and I have only just found out I am pg. Especially at things on the tv.

I watched a nature program the other day and I cried.

Inquisitive · 09/04/2008 14:23

Just (just! ha!) hormones I think.

I was nearly in tears in M&S earlier because they didn't have what I wanted for lunch and I couldn't think of anything else I wanted...

PuhPeng · 09/04/2008 14:26

Last night I cried because dd wanted dp's water, not mine.

Just go with it - have a good old weep. Makes you feel better.

PearTart · 09/04/2008 14:58

30 weeks pg here with baby 2 and burst into tears in Bravissimo when the maternity bras all fell off the display hangers! Ditto at evening news. Ditto when 3 fire-engines went past me a couple of days ago.
DH would claim that I'm also hyper-grumpy.
You are not alone. X

ChasingButterflies · 09/04/2008 15:54

Inquisitive, ha ha, I'm with you. When I was pg, I burst into tears in Tesco, because there were just too many things to choose from and how could anyone be expected to choose what they wanted?
Then I cried at home later because I didn't have any food in

Inquisitive · 09/04/2008 16:01

Oh lord yes, ChasingButterflies, I was all weepy last week in M&S (bit of a theme here) because I wanted fish for tea but my dh hates it and how could I possibly choose one of the hundred other options for him?!

Hmm, a lot of my weepiness seems to be around food now I think about it...
