Looking for recommendations and honest reviews of tried and tested baby carriers.

Not keen on the babybjorn ones, from everything I have read babys legs/hips aren't in the correct position when wearing

TIA

I'd recommend finding a local sling library & trying a few out, as there are so many types & each fits differently. What works for one person, won't for another. I didn't get on with stretchy wraps, but others love them.
I used Tula's for both my DC - the standard version & Toddler version when DC were bigger. Used the infant insert when they were babies. We used them a lot & both DH & I wore it as it was adjustable. I liked the structure of them & the buckles, as I'm rubbish with knots.
But I only decided on the Tula after trying several from the sling library.

Baby Bjorn aren't like that anymore, they changed their design to support hips and correct positioning. I've always used an Ergo 360, and been happy with that, worth seeing if there is a sling library near you because you can hire to try different ones out, think I paid £15 for 4 weeks. Mine also did free stretchy wraps for the first 12 weeks of age to loan

I love my Integra size 1.

DH loves our Tula Explore.

I can use our Tula but I don’t love it and DH isn’t a fan of the Integra. The Tula is a little too big for me and DH doesn’t like the way the straps of the Integra cross over his back (which is what I love about this carrier). We both hated the Baby Bjorn and I would agree with you, they are v poorly designed. Lots of people rave about Ergo carriers but I didn’t get on well with this either.

It’s why it’s crucial to try a few and see which you like. It’s not a one-size-fits-all at all.

If you are on FB there is a baby wearing UK group where you can find out so much about slings and find your nearest library. I’d recommend joining.
