I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant. Since around week 7 I've been feeling nauseous in the afternoon/evening. I felt I've got off pretty lightly but since the end of week 9 I'm feeling sick all day. The only time I don't is when I'm eating - which admittedly is quite a lot of the time at the mo.

I've read that weeks 9 and 10 are often the worst.. has that been true for anyone?

Just realised I can do a poll!

Mine isn't on there 28 weeks with my first. I mean that's not on is it. I suppose at leat I was actually sick just felt sick all the time for 28 weeks, oddly enough I can't remember about my second I know it wasn't as bad though.

It definitely lessened at 12-14 weeks but I had it on and off up until 20 weeks

Blue2020 · 15/06/2024 05:49

Exactly at 14 weeks

Doesn't always pass. I had it for the whole of pregnancy, sick everyday until I gave birth for all three.

That's really shit, I'm sorry. Having it half my pregnancy (and then SPD in the second half) was a big factor in my not having another child, so having three is unfathomable to me.

I had SPD with the last two as well ! 😀
All long ago though, they're teenagers now.

I had similar to you - started to ease around 12 weeks. 9-10 was pretty bad for it

oustedbymymate · 15/06/2024 09:34

DS1 around 14/15 weeks it eased off. DS2 more like 18 weeks

MyPinkViper · 22/06/2024 21:02

Poll results are in...

32% before 14 weeks
33% 13-20 weeks
35% it never ends

So to everyone still suffering (myself included) we have a 65% of it being over before half way. This doesn't fill me with hope 🙁

The odds are better than even: reason to hope, I’d say.

flowergardentree · 24/06/2024 23:04

I had hg so didn't end until I gave birth. It was horrific. Hope yours ends soon

pinkpetunias · 25/06/2024 07:57

Mine was really bad from weeks 6-9 then it started improving in week 10 and went by week 12. I’m 14 weeks now and no sickness but my appetite is still very wonky.

ButterflyWings13 · 25/06/2024 09:45

With my first pregnancy I was sick all the way up to about 25 weeks but that's very unusual. I lived on a diet of ginger biscuits for a really long time 😂

Second time round I'm only 5 weeks and it comes and goes isn't as constant as the first time but still have a long way to go
