Cramping 4+6

I found out I was pregnant a week ago today with our miracle baby (4 failed rounds of IVF). Today I’ve woken up feeling really anxious and jittery all over my body and have had continuous cramping throughout the day. It feels central and travels through to my vagina (if that makes sense?!)

I had a panic attack yesterday as I have a lot of autoimmune issues and was incredibly stressed. Could this be the start of something bad or is cramping totally normal at this time? It’s been continuous all day, like a period type cramp on a scale of 4/5 out of 10. Taking progesterone pessaries twice a day and blood thinners, alongside a concoction of other meds.

I’m so scared as this is our miracle baby and I don’t want to lose it :(

Thank you

It is usually normal to have period-type-pain cramping especially in early pregnancy. However if you're concerned you can always contact the GP or even 111 (if you're in the U.K., I don't know the details for other countries, sorry).
I had this pain around 6 weeks (and still on and off now and I'm 16 weeks now) and I also some light spotting... the 111 system sent me to the EPU for a scan. Good luck with everything

I’m on an immunes protocol after recurrent miscarriages and I have found taking a magnesium tablet and drinking a lot of water stops the cramping - I find it really triggering as it brings back my losses so trying to avoid it. Rest and putting my hands on my abdomen and breathing also helps.
