Has anyone travelled at 32+ weeks pregnant

I’m trying to get travel insurance for 4 days. I will be 32 weeks on the day of flying (3hr flight) so 32+4 on the way back. All the insurance companies say they only cover birth up until the end of the 31st week and from 32nd they cover complications from pregnancy but not actual birth. Has anyone managed to find any that will cover actual birth?

The issue isn't that they won't cover the birth but that the baby won't be covered if it comes early. YOU are insured, not the child. NICU cost is at least £1000/ night. Think about if you can afford to pay that before going.

@Cariadxx The ones I have checked do actually cover the baby automatically but only if there are complications not if it is a normal routine birth-which would be unlikely at 32 weeks. Thanks for the response though.

I would check what their idea of normal vs complications is...... I've known several babies born abroad and parents having huge issues with finding their care and passports etc.
Personally don't see the need to be going on holiday and increasing risks. Obviously there are other reasons to travel though.

I did. I flew to and from South Africa and came back and went straight to my first nct class. Flew out at 32 weeks, back at 33.
Mine did cover the baby and cover any hospital care for 30 days.
let me try and dig it out.

Posting as also curious and if I can find a policy might actually be able to go on a work trip that I want to do. I couldn't find any that would cover 'normal birth' after 32 weeks and like previous posters have said wouldn't cover the baby , or accommodation / transport etc incurred afterwards. The list of covered abnormal scenarios was quite small.

I think it was Ravenhall insurers. They did to 36 week (I flew back at 34 weeks). This was in 2017 but I can’t seem to find my mumsnet post asking for advice.
I will add a word of caution- nothing prepared me for how difficult the flight was. Obviously different as the first one was 11 hours and then I had another hour flight but I was horribly uncomfortable the entire time and I was upgraded.
