For those of you with SVT, did it affect the way you delivered your baby? E.g. vaginally or csection

I've been on medication for over 10 years for rapid pulse and palpitations, SVT. My pulse always used to be consistently range from 120-180bpm and my bp approx 170/110, So far, thanks to the medication it has been reasonably well controlled during pregnancy (bp 148/90, still higher but manageable, and pulse variable) Wondering if anyone has the same and whether it affected delivery? Will it sky rocket again during childbirth? Could you delivery vaginally or was it a c section? Thanks

Unrelated to my rare episodes of SVT i had a c-section. I told the anaesthetist about it at the time and she wasn't worried. Just make sure the team know about it and that you get some advice about taking the meds once breast feeding etc

I have SVT and had a vaginal birth on Friday. No issues 🙂

I have svt and was allowed to labour naturally. I also have high resting heart rate and my heart rate was actually lower during labour than it is normally! I did end up with a section in the end, but I was allowed everything as normal. the only thing they changed was my medication when I was pregnant. I was on bisoporal but got changed to labetlol.
