Scared of placental abruption

Hello all..I'm hoping for some success stories/ positivity.
I'm currently 27+6 with my second. I have low lying placenta and possible accreta but that's not confirmed.
Yesterday I had a bleed and was admitted into hospital for 24 hours. No more bleeding and no pain, cervix closed. Baby ok etc.
I'm just so worried about the uncertainty of what the future holds in terms of placental abruption.
The first doctor I saw said ' prepare for the worst, hope for the best' I'm not sure what she meant by the worst
Not sure what I'm asking but hoping to hear people's experience

Not sure what experience you were looking for but I had placenta abruption with my son. Absolutely no warning or symptoms. I went in for reduced movement at 39 weeks and they decided he needed to come out there and then by emergency C-section. When they went in they realised my placenta had abrupted.
Of course it was a bit of a shock that he was delivered so quickly but we were both absolutely fine. Placenta abruption is really rare and although it sounds like you might have some issues that might make you more susceptible (completely assumption from your post, I’m no medical professional) I’m assuming you’re having extra appointments and being monitored closely? If anything were to happen they’d hopefully catch it early.
Wishing you lots of luck and try not to worry too much. Monitor baby’s movements and if you feel like they’re not normal go in for a check. They’d much rather see you than not!

@bee49 thank you for responding. I think I'm looking for all experiences.
So scary that you had no symptoms but glad it ended up OK, even though no doubt it was a traumatic experience.
Yes I'm going to be monitored closely by the hospital and I'm constantly wary of his movements so being alert to that. Its just the anxiety and uncertainty of it all that's hard to get my head round..I'm a self confessed control freak and I can't be that in this situation really!
