I mean..I've already demolished a few bags but it's now dawned on me I may not be allowed them??
I'm assuming it would be ok as they're cooked right?

Is this a serious question? 😐

Muchtoomuchtodo · 28/04/2024 17:41

Oh course you can. What is it that makes you thinks you shouldn’t?

Ilovebread · 28/04/2024 17:52

What is it that's concerning you?

FTMaz · 28/04/2024 23:17

I doubt prawn crackers have any actual prawn in them anyway OP but you’ll be absolutely fine either way x

Catopia · 29/04/2024 06:51

Any minimal amount of prawn in the prawn crackers is cooked when they deep fry them, so they're safe. The exception may be if baby's father has a shellfish allergy in which case see the LEAP recommendations.

Hi everyone, sorry I’m new to all this.

my period is like clock work every month since coming of the pill 6 months ago. Me and my boyfriend are not trying for a baby because I don’t want that stress or upset every month, but it’s very much a wish of mine as I’m nearly 32 with no kids. I’m 4 days late, but I’m so scared to do a pregnancy test to find out I’m not pregnant and go through that upset, all iv been thinking of in these 4 days is imagining me as a mum, you get yourself excited. I’m weeing a lot, and when I get to the bathroom I feel myself with worry that il see blood and that iv come on my period. I haven’t been sleeping well, last few days iv been feeling tired in the day and not sleeping at night, I was out working yesterday all day and I kept feeling a bit sick. Is this me over thinking? Iv always wanted to be a mum so I’m worried this will effect me. I keep getting the period systems, like lower pains but still no bleeding.

Hi
you need to post on the pregnancy thread this has come up on the prawn cracker question. If you go back to the thread you will see the add button at the bottom :)

Oblomov24 · 29/04/2024 13:07

Seriously?

Yes.

DramaAlpaca · 29/04/2024 13:14

@Ilovebread I'm curious why you think they might not be OK? I doubt a prawn cracker has ever been near a prawn, tbh, if that's what's worrying you. It's just an artificial flavouring.

Anyway, I'm certain they are fine to eat when you are pregnant.

@Jane1992 you need to start a new thread in the Pregnancy topic. Your post might not be seen and any answers are likely to refer to eating prawn crackers in pregnancy as that's what the opening post in this thread is about. If you start a new thread people will see it and reply. But in answer to your question, if you are normally very regular and are now four days late you should do a test. I hope you get the result you want.

mitogoshi · 29/04/2024 13:20

@Ilovebread

With kindness please relax.

Look up the nhs foods to avoid in pregnancy list, it is very small! Principally it's to avoid foods which have a higher risk of food poisoning, cold meats, some cheeses - things that you don't cook mostly in fact. I ate nearly everything and dc were just fine

CCLCECSC · 29/04/2024 13:22

Absolutely fine; enjoy those Crackers.
