No nausea, v little symptom 6 weeks pregnant

I want to preface this with, I know I'm being so anxious lol. I'm currently 6+5 weeks pregnant, had 3 previous mc last year and 1 successful birth.

I'm worried about the lack of symptoms at this stage, I'm on progesterone pessaries too and have the standard sore boobs, heartburn and tiredness. I luckily seen a little heartbeat at 6+2 on a scan, but still worried that the lack of symptoms are a bad sign? Even though I didn't have many before scan either.

I've a scan booked at EPU for 7+6 but that feels like ages away.

Any positive stories would be appreciated or if anyone is in the same boat ❤

I didn't have nausea at all till 20+ weeks but was very much pregnant! Xx

You will be fine :-) I've got 3dc and had completely different pregnancies with each one. If you've had your scan, that's reassurance :-)

However, saying that after several miscarraiges - I'm now preg again (around 5 weeks) but no symptoms :/
I feel tired, have a back ache and keep getting bloated but nothing else.

Fingers crossed all is well :-)

I agree with PPs. Each time can be different. Congratulations and good luck!

With DD1, I had hardly any symptoms: no sickness, no sore boobs, no heartburn. With DD2, if I didn't have a snack between 10 - 11am, I felt sick all day, but I still didn't have sore boobs or heartburn.

I only had fatigue in the first trimester, both pregnancies.

I’d say enjoy being symptom-free while it lasts. Every pregnancy is so different. I had symptoms at 6 weeks, but then they completely disappeared and there was no indication at all that I was pregnant in weeks 7-9. Still baby was completely fine at 12-weeks scan.

Some people never even get nausea. Symptoms or the lack of them do not say much except whether your liver is working well. People with poorly performing liver tend to have more and intense symptoms.
I never ended up have actual nausea, I just had a gag feeling, like retching, but no sickness and now I am 21 weeks in.

i went through 3 full term pregnancies with no nausea. some people just don't get it. just sore boobs in begining for me and tiredness. cramping too

Mumoftwo2022 · 28/04/2024 18:59

My symptoms didn’t start til like 8 weeks

Thanks so much everyone, it's reassuring to know not everyone gets strong symptoms and still has successful pregnancies ❤

@Xur that's so interesting, I've never heard of that before, fingers crossed I just have a strong liver 🤣

Hello,
I am in the same boat and looking for some reassurance too!
I only have sore boobs (not the worst though), watery discharge, increased appetite and fatigue. I don’t feel remotely pregnant and already had a CP but so many people around me had miscarriages / find out at 12 week scan no heartbeat etc 😫
Got an early scan next week but I am so nervous something is going to be wrong!
We wld moan if really sick and moan if not many symptoms so dont feel pregnant 🤣 x

I am facing same issue, pregnancy test shows positive 4 weeks, had my IVF frozen embryo transfer. I'm on progesterone injections and pessaries due to low progesterone.
Initially I felt strong symptoms and now all of sudden my body has changed , no symptoms at all.
I had miscarriage last year 6 weeks , and worried for same.

If your pregnancy doesn’t proceed at this stage there’s nothing anyone can do about it because it would be due to a genetic pathology or a process of cell formation or growth failing to take place. Not something that anyone can do something about.
Pretty much everyone above said it’s normal to not have symptoms and also once you start getting symptoms it’s normal for them to come and go day on day. It’s normal to get none at all or just some. Just as is it normal to have a lot of symptoms. Stressing about it just makes us produce more cortisol which is unnecessary.

@Xur I know it helps to know its nothing caused by ourselves if something went wrong.

I had v little symptoms last week upto my scan and thought I was completely out, but seen a strong little heartbeat at 6+2. So as you all say symptoms really don't mean much.

Although in saying that, of course I'm back to stressing this week before my next scan, hoping all is still OK.

@Lancylux are you on the 400mg pessaries, I'm on 2 a day and I've found I'm getting subtle symptoms, but I'm sure our bodies would be getting used to the hormones. The progesterone definitely helps as the sonographer commented on how good my womb lining was, so hopefully that'll help you too.

@Lehcar30 ah it's so tough facing pregnancy after losses, I find it just puts me on edge constantly in the first trimester. You're right though, if and when we get more symptoms we'll miss these calmer symptom days lol. When have you booked your first scan for?
