There is no hope for me! I have no other thoughts in my head apart from when is this baby going to actually show up!

This waiting game is just driving me stark raving maaaad!

My latest thing is - please don't read this if you have just had your tea - I just had a bit of almost clear dihhorhoea (forgive my spelling) which seems a little wierd. I've not eaten anything out of the ordinary. I've read other threads and other pregnant ladies have written about such things, so I hope you're not all going to ignore this thread, because I'm talking about minging things. (blush)

I'm 37 weeks, 4/5 brim, having random braxton hicks things quite a bit (although more painful this time round than when I had my first baby), size of a whale, and very very impatient. I'm healthy enough as far as I know.

Is dihorrhoea possibly a sign of something imminent, and I don't mean a poo. Just wondered.

You're all a lovely lot by the way, I've only posted a couple of times, but I've been amazed at how friendly and helpful you all are. Thank you for making me feel less alone in my pregnancy paranoia.

Best of luck to all you impatient mums (and the patient ones too). xxx

Bump

Fleecy · 31/03/2008 22:13

Bumping for you in sympathy - I'm 39 weeks today and never expected to get this far. DD was born at 37+1 so I thought this one would be early too. But it would seem not!

I've also been having regular clear outs (nice!), strong painful BHs every ten mins each evening from about 6pm over the last few weeks and I even had a hindwater leak a few days ago. Still nothing. Sigh! I'll join you in waiting if that's okay?

If it's any consolation, the last couple of days, I've stopped being frustrated so you might find the same soon? I've slept much better having given up wondering 'is this it?' every night!

Am having my first so not best to advise here BUT all my mothering friends have told me that the squits were the most definite sign of impending labour.

Started with lurvely backache too. Oh dear! I think I should just take your advice and just stop wondering if tonight is the night kinda thing. I've been going to bed expecting to be up and birthing in a matter of hours, for about the last 5 days I think.

Glad I'm not on my own. I hope you meet your little one soon! I reckon it can't be too much longer for you.

I will miss being pregnant, but I won't miss these last stages!

Will just have to grin and bear it. It's not like we're going to be pregnant forever is it. The end is in sight.

Thanks for your advice.
