What did waters going slowly feel like for you

I just felt a small gush of fluid come out of my vagina, so I spoke to my local DAU about it but they didn’t seem concerned at all. They said, it sounds like you’re panicking a bit too much so just relax and take it easy. I’m only 33+5 so maybe that’s why I sounded panicky! They did say if it continues to come out then call them again so I will be keeping an eye on it. I did feel another small trickle afterwards, I soaked through my underwear and leggings so I’ve changed them and put a panty liner on too.

Can anyone else share their experience of slow leaking waters please what did it feel like for you? Is there anything else I need to look out for? I’m hoping it’s not my waters and it’s just very watery discharge…

@Monkeytownten I'm sorry you went through that. We also had a very scary scenario (double cord round neck, no amniotic, meconium, followed by three days of anti biotics for baby and a hot cot) but don't think we questioned things enough. Too shellshocked. I was 42 weeks and had been in hospital for 4 days waiting for induction with high blood pressure but too busy to be processed.

OP, you were worried enough to post about it. Theres no harm in calling the hospital. They would much rather see 100s of women who don’t need to be seen than miss the one who should be seen.

Ok so I phoned labour ward earlier today as I felt a couple more trickles come out, they asked me to go in and I was swabbed by a doctor but the result was negative, so it wasn’t my waters, just must be new watery discharge I’m experiencing
