Can’t get Covid vaccine anywhere

Have any other pregnant people had trouble getting the Covid vaccine in 2024? Despite all the posters in the hospital and my midwife suggesting I get a booster I can’t find anywhere that is doing them. I live in Gloucestershire but very happy to travel to get one!

The vaccine is absolutely still recommended by NHS and the obs specific health boards. The hospital might have a walk in service, I've seen it with a flu and covid vaccine walk in service.

I got given the covid and flu vaccine at the same time just after my 12 week scan. There was a nurse in the hospital waiting room offering them to all of the pregnant women waiting for scans. Felt absolutely fine after both! Hoping you find somewhere soon OP

I'm 26 weeks and was advised to have it so had it, a bit before Christmas. I'm outside of mainland UK though so different system here.

….

Your screengrab dates back to late 2020/early 2021. Why are you posting deliberately out of date information?

I live in Gloucestershire too and exactly the same. I work for the NHS and my employer isn't offering COVID vaccine anymore to front line workers or anyone else. My GP isn't offering it. The hospital isn't offering it. I was told to call 119? And they'd be able to find me somewhere to have it free. I haven't done this yet as I've recently had COVID so I'm not sure it's worth the effort!

would advise you read as much information as possible carefully from multiple sources before getting a covid vaccine when pregnant. Remember the conflicts of interest of the MHRA, politicians and the mainstream media (pharma funding, pharma investments) and be cautious of taking what anyone says at face value. It’s your baby and your body.
