Underactive Thyroid and Early Pregnancy

Hi, I'm having a bit of a panic. I've had hypothyroidism for 15 years and it's generally well controlled with levothyroxine.
I had a healthy pregnancy and baby in 2022 and my thyroid levels were within the optimal range throughout.
I have now (just) discovered I am pregnant again, as my very predictable period didn't show up yesterday. I'm worried because I'm aware TSH levels should be below 2.5 for conception and first trimester however my most recent TSH level was 3.8 🙈
Obviously Google is terrifying on the subject (miscarriage, poor brain development etc) so I'm looking for some other Mama's on here who might have had a less than optimal TSH reading at the start of pregnancy and things turned out okay? 🙏🏼

I have increased my dose myself by 25mcg, as of yesterday.

I had to increase my levothorine in pregnancies. Both were fine, no concerns. It just meant I was consultant led so had a few more check ups.

Thanks for the reply :)
Yes I was consultant led last time and it was very straightforward.
I think I'm just panicking this time because my TSH level isn't where it should be and I'm worried it's already doing damage 😕
Last time my level was perfect so I didn't need to fret

My tsh got to similar levels in the first trimester, t4 stayed within range though.it felt as though my dose increses weren't quite keeping up with demand from the baby. 36 weeks now and all is well. I know the potential risks you read are scary but I think they mainly apply to uncontrolled hypo. Its expected to level out and possibly decrease levo towards the end. Just push for frequent blood tests and keep on top of things, I'm sure it will be fine. Congratulations and wishing you the best.

I haven't been diagnosed with underactive thyroid outside of pregnancy, although it's often towards the underactive end of normal if you see what I mean.

My TSH was 3.4 at at my booking bloods at about 7 weeks and the doctors put me on levothyroxine at that point. No one seemed particularly concerned that it was raised before then.
