Asprin to prevent miscarriage

I'm currently 5weeks pregnant after 2MMC. I have endometriosis and a bicornuate uterus. I have researched the use of asprin for miscarriage prevention and have spoken to EPU about this. They said they could not advise me to take it as they do not know my medical history.
Would it be ok to take 75mg of asprin daily anyway? I'm worried that I start taking it and get told to stop then something goes wrong. I'm also not sure how it would affect me with my bicornuate uterus. Have also asked about progesterone but have been told I cannot have it unless I am bleeding.
Any advice would be great! Thank you in advance ☺️

I wouldn’t take it without the go ahead from a health professional. Aspirin isn’t a med I’d personally mess with but I know some women decide to self-medicate with it during their pregnancy so it’s clearly done.

I was taking it as prescribed along with progesterone pessaries, injections and heparin. But that was all under the eye of the FS and scans every 10 days.

I know you probably know this already but MC usually happen because there’s a problem with the baby so any meds wouldn’t have been able to prevent it.

I was told about 'baby aspirin' by a nurse doing my discharge from hospital after my 2nd mmc. She mentioned it, more of a suggestion of something that may possibly because was so exasperated.

I started taking it and got pregnant quickly with DD. Given that you have additional complications you probably need more advice from a professional.

I took aspirin and progesterone daily and it was prescribed. If you take a low dose aspirin daily, it definitely won’t have a negative impact. I would push for the progesterone prescription though too.

If it gets to the bleeding stage, it’s too late for progesterone.

Please push for this, I had to battle my GP for a while but they prescribed because it can’t hurt a pregnancy, but it may well help. I’m convinced it is the reason I had a healthy pregnancy after 3 MC in a row x

@DrunkenElephant same here, had a a baby after 3MC.

OP worst case go private and get a prescription. I have spent thousands to have my DC2 and it was all worth it.

Low dose aspirin is fine if you can tolerate it but do keep in mind that some people cant and it can cause bleeding issues and stomach ulcers in some people.
