Cervical ectropian - help reassure me through a long night wait

Hello kind people of Mumsnet. I am 12 weeks with my first. Had some minor spotting on and off. Today I mentioned the spotting at an appointment for something else and GP did a vaginal exam. She confirmed I had a small cervical ectropian that was lightly bleeding and that my cervix was high and closed. So far, so reassured. I was low level worried most of the day. Fast forward to tonight and I had a - sorry for TMI - rather explosive poop and then a fair amount of blood with some small clots when I wiped. I have rung the triage and they said EPU will call me tomorrow morning and probably get me in for a scan. I guess if I had a question it would be - how much blood can an ectropian cause? The amount I had was less than a teaspoon, but it was bright with little dark clots. It's stopped now - just little streaks as I wipe. I was meant to be having my 12 week scan today but my husband is away for work so we delayed it to next week. I know there's nothing I can do at this point but I am alone and scared so reaching out to internet strangers seemed like something to do.
