Faint lines.. chemical pregnancy?

I’ve had faint lines on multiple test brands for the past 3 days, but they’re not really getting darker. I also had a BFN on a first response at 12dpo after the BFP shown in the photo, followed by faint lines on internet cheapies.

Is this a chemical pregnancy? Has anyone had super faint lines like this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy?

I’m getting an HCG blood draw later today.

I only started testing 18 DPO this pregnancy and the lines are very strong so have nothing else to compare it to. These are all well behind that though so fingers crossed for you they get darker x

Hi @Bexoplex !

Just wanted to come on here and share my experience very recently with similar! Not to be negative Nancy but a hopefully realistic view too!

From 11 days DPO up to 17 days DPO my lines were faint and never got stronger, they were slightly stronger than yours but never got darker. I had all the symptoms of pregnancy but it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks.

I would say keep an eye on your symptoms and any bleeding. I woke up one day and my sore boobs and nausea just disappeared and I then had a bleed!

Not saying this is going to be the case for you, stay positive! But just thought I’d give you a ‘think the worst’ and you might hopefully be surprised! Also try a Clear Blue digital! Good luck x

Faint lines on a pregnancy test could indicate a chemical pregnancy. A chemical pregnancy refers to an early miscarriage that occurs shortly after implantation. It results in a positive pregnancy test followed by a negative test, often before a woman even realizes she is pregnant. If you suspect a chemical pregnancy, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional for confirmation and guidance.

@Bexoplex What was your outcome here? Same thing is happening to me now...
