Weird feelings in tummy/womb 14 weeks?

I have really odd sensations in my womb area. I have it every day past week. I'm 15 weeks on Tuesday.
Sometimes it's all the time, it'll stop , come back later. Just randomly happens through out day. Just comes and goes.
Hard to explain. Slight tugging maybe, also maybe fluttering or a nervous feeling or hungry feeling in my womb lol I can't describe it at all just bloody weird.
I'm worrying myself I'm having contractions or something. I've had lots of cramps , pain with stretching but this is completely different. Don't know if it's womb or bowel intestinal gas ect. I know its not baby moving since midwife told me I wouldn't feel movement tol around 20 weeks since its my first pregnancy. Anyone had this

Forget what the midwife said, many many women, myself included, report flutters (baby movement) way before 20 weeks. I felt this undeniable feeling at 12 weeks with my first and the same with my second. Even the NHS website states 16 weeks on average. Just depends how in tune/sensitive you are. Congratulations OP ☺️

I'd say baby flutters. When I was pregnant with first I felt things early on but put it down to wind etc. when pregnant with second I knew I was right with first. The amount you feel is very dependent on where your placenta is.

Oh that's interesting to hear people have had earlier experiences. If it was the baby tho would it be going on for long periods of time like that? I kinda thought it would be a movement here or there if it was baby moving or kicking but sometimes it's short bursts and others it goes on a really long time . Surely it would be constantly just turning and jerking for an hour

They do things like somersault in the womb when they're that tiny. I would always describe it as feeling like a little fish swimming around in a circle really fast!

Weird that she told you that because it obviously isn't true. Lots of women feel it way before then. Maybe she meant don't worry if you don't because also normal not to feel/notice/recognize until second half of pg.

Or maybe she disbelieves women who feel movement earlier, in which case change midwife!

I could feel tiny feathery movement before 12 weeks each time. But I'm very over sensitive to all sensations, which is usually a huge nuisance but in this case nice.

Agree with PP, I think it's likely baby movement. To me feels like I've eaten something alive and it's moving about haha

With my second I definitely felt movement at 13 weeks (once you’ve experienced it before it’s undeniable). I would think it’s movement for certain. Congratulations, so exciting. Your midwife is wrong, I felt with my first at 17 weeks.

Midwife told me usually anything from 16-23 weeks but I guess it can be earlier. The consultant asked me at my 17 weeks appointment if I had felt anything, he reassured me it's normal not to but he wouldn't have asked if no one felt anything earlier. I'm 18 weeks and think I've felt a few little flutters but can't be sure I have an anterior placenta though so didn't expect anything before 20 weeks.
