Can anyone share any advice or positive experiences having grown children/teens and starting again with pregnancy/babies toddler's?
Is there anyone who regrets starting again later on life?
Or would you say it's the best thing to have happend to you?
Was baby planned or accident thank-you in advance for anyone who takes the time to reply.

Hi,
I'm in this position, I'm 35 weeks with baby no4 with 3 teens, boys of 19 and 17 and a girl of 15.
They are all really excited and can't wait for baby to be here.
The only thing I have noticed being an older mum is how tired I have been with the this pregnancy.
Not going to
Lie I feel like a first time mum all over again, everything is different 🙈

My oldest was 25 with younger siblings - youngest was 6 when last dc arrived.. Planned with new dh... He is one utterly adored dc now 9yo...born when I was 43
..no regrets.

There was a feature about this on Woman's Hour today.

I have a 17 year old, 14 year old and near 2 year old. Just had baby no4.

The elder ones dote on the younger ones. As above though, it’s tough on the mind and body now I’m older.

It's lovely to hear some positivity regarding the older children. Do you mind me asking how old you are? I'm expecting things to be a bit rougher than my 20s but don't feel too old at 36 nearly 37 x

I was 42 when I had my 4th child. Older 3 at that time were 25,23 and 21.

Older ones have always adored their younger sibling and are all close as they have grown up.

Applecrumble24 · 16/01/2024 08:14

I was 41 when I had my last child.
my older two were 21 & 23, grown up and left home!
I’m exhausted this time round but being a new mum again is an absolute joy even though she’s hard work!
Her sisters adore her and she’s very spoilt.
I wouldn’t change anything, except maybe if I was younger, I’d have more

I am 39 now. Was 37 when I “started again”
