I am 9-10 weeks pregnant and had a scan last week when we heard baby’s heartbeat.

I have had light brown spotting on and off for two weeks. My midwife said they are not concerned unless it turns red and is accompanied by cramps.

I am taking progesterone, aspirin and steroids due to 2 previous losses. I have had very minimal symptoms, apparently due to the medication, but have had breast tenderness since my BFP.

For the last two days my breast tenderness has completely stopped.

Can anyone offer any advice/support? I’ve read many posts on here about the placenta taking over but it seems too early and the yolk sac was still visible on my last scan.

The only advice I can give you is to assure you are not alone in this. I too am stressing over the symptoms or the lack of them. My breasts were sensitive for one day two weeks ago, but when I did the HCG test to assess progress-it was there, showing +3 weeks.
I read on the internet that the symptoms can be affected by your diet and how tested you are. For example if you eat clean and have lots of sleep. I spoke to my friend yesterday who had a baby last year, she did say that her symptoms came on late, she didn’t get nausea until like 9 weeks and even when she did it came and went. Plus she had a period in the first month while being pregnant.
The good experiences from others that I’ve learned of are the ones that help me to not freak out and so hope my wall of text will somewhat help you aswell.

On top of that my other friend who’s now 38 weeks in and about to pop any day now she did not have ANY symptoms at all apart from baby brain in last trimester and she had blood clots coming with a period in the first trimester. She only found out she’s pregnant 11 weeks in…by accident.

I'm 17 weeks and still no symptoms apart from a bit of a bump now! I also had brown discharge/spotting between 8 and 13/14 weeks accompanied by some stretchy/crampy pains..had a scan yesterday and all is fine, as was the 12 week dating scan. It's a really scary time and unfortunately things do go wrong but if you aren't bleeding heavily or having bad pains then the chances are that everything is fine.

I'm on baby 3 and get pretty much zero symptoms with any of my pregnancies. I did have some breast tenderness early on with my first and nipple tenderness with this one but other than that, very little. I think few or no symptoms are a lot more common than you realise. It's the people with lots of symptoms you hear about and of course the media makes you believe everyone is throwing up every 2 minutes but a lot of my friends haven't been like that at all.

I completely understand your worry 🤍 I lost my first baby when I was 33 weeks pregnant (due to a genetic condition), so when I was pregnant with my rainbow I was terrified and constantly convinced myself something was wrong.
My advice is try not to look too heavily into symptoms. They come and go throughout the pregnancy and are different for everyone and also different for each baby in my experience.
With my son (first baby), I felt nauseous all day everyday, sore boobs, aversions to certain smells etc from very early on. With my daughter (rainbow baby), I had the 'typical' pregnancy symptoms of nausea etc for about 2 weeks really early on, and then by 8ish weeks they disappeared and all I felt was a tiny bit more tired. I was convinced something was wrong, but she's a happy, healthy, clever 17 month old now 🥰
