So with my daughter in the first trimester (who was initially a twin so maybe that changes it) i had terrible cravings for salty food, extremely tired (couldn't keep my eyes open) and mild nausea and needing to pee every five minutes

Now 10 weeks with no 2. singleton pregnancy. Due my nipt test this weekend so hopefully will know in the next week,. I am naseaus all day and can barely tolerate food, sweet cravings and no tiredness or needing to pee.

Wonder what it'll be!!

With my first, I was sick everyday at 2pm. Very odd. I was tired and remember being very thirsty and shivery for the first trimester. No cravings early on. Nothing until 3rd trimester when I was desperate for oranges and ready salted crisps. I had a girl.
I'm currently 12+4 and have had extreme tiredness. Literally falling asleep on the sofa. Mild nausea but no sickness. Lots and lots of cramping this time round, ridiculous bloating (I look the same as I did at 20 weeks this time). I am 12 years old now though 😳.

Oh and I cannot bear hot drinks at all this time.

My first I really liked ocean pie, prawn cocktail crisps and roast beef dinners, had sickness in the mornings, carried low.

Second no symptoms or cravings apart from severe bloating early on and mild heartburn in second trimester.

Third so tired, preferred sweeter things, nausea but only sick once, carried high.

All 3 were very very different, all 3 are girls

First no sickness, no symptoms and had a thing about apple sauce, second horrendous nausea, no cravings, both girls

The scientists who made the scientific breakthrough linking NVP to the hormone GDF15 say it’s actually slightly more prevalent in girls giving truth to the ‘wives tale’ that girls make you sicker. That said, sickness also depends on other factors like the mother’s prior exposure (first borns more likely to make you sicker) and individual variations from the placenta. So it’s hard to tell!
