Exercise in pregnancy PhD research

Do you have experience with continuing to exercise while pregnant? How did you feel about the guidance and advice that you received? Did you face uncertainty about how, or if, you should modify your exercise routine?

Researchers at Australian Catholic University are aiming to improve the information we have available about exercise in pregnancy. My PhD, specifically, is looking at how active people train while pregnant.

If you are currently, or were previously, pregnant you could help with the studies. It doesn't matter where in the world you are located, or how long ago your previous pregnancy was.

What's involved? You will be asked to share exercise data recorded during your current or previous pregnancy and complete surveys about your health and exercise. If you are currently pregnant and live near Brisbane (Australia), you can opt in to additional measures to understand how your body and baby respond to exercise in each trimester of pregnancy. The de-identified results of the studies will be published in high-quality scientific journals.

Please feel free to share the information on the studies below with anyone you know who might be interested in participating!
