Bugaboo Bee 6 - Fox5 - Fox Cub or Dragonfly - recommendations/opinions

Due in June - it’s my 3rd baby but want a new pram.

really like the size of the Bee, but seems it’s been discontinued and can’t find anywhere that’s selling it where I can physically see it and try it out.

also like the look of the fox 5/fox cub from
what I’ve seen online but not seen in the flesh yet

saw the dragonfly in John Lewis and I really liked it, but it’s the dearer option out of the 4!

does anyone have any of these and can let me know what they think of it, or if you have any comparisons between them?

Thanks

I guess it depends on your lifestyle? The fox is great for more rural living and going down bumpy paths and stuff like that, but it's bulky and I wouldn't want to be hauling it on and off public transport or trying to navigate busy city streets with it.

I have the fox 5 and love it! Regularly walk 15km a day with it and find it really easy to push. I think the best thing is how easy it is to manoeuvre, and I don’t think the Cub has the one handed turn and that would put me off

But is bulky so agree if you need to get on and off public transport it might not be the right choice

Brilliant thanks both - won’t be needed for public transport but was definitely looking for something on the smaller side so you’ve help me cut the Fox 5 from my list!

In which case, I'd say if it's for a newborn go for the dragonfly. If it's for 6 month plus maybe save the money and go for a bee

Also, if you're thinking of travelling, especially on a plane, the yoyo babyzen or butterfly actually fit in the overhead cabin. We travel a lot with DS, and I sometimes regret not getting the yoyo when we're waiting an hour at the carousel for our checked-in pushchair

I wouldn't recommend the butterfly personally. I bought it when it was first released and loads of cheaper options came out after.

I found it unstable going around corners, and it tried to tip into the road a few times. Was easy to put up and down but that's about it.

I have the bee 6 and I’m quite happy with it - small enough for public transport (local buses, tube) but also sturdy enough for a walk in the park over grass.

Carrycot is not the biggest but my DS used it until he was 5 and half months so it ended up working well for us.
