So my current issue is I currently live somewhere very remote in Scotland and I've just recently moved here from a main city in Scotland however I still have to receive care from the main city in Scotland as where I am can't facilitate and where they normally send pregnant women let me down medically I'm now looking at moving back to where we moved from and want to do it soon as traveling back and forth is expensive and patient transport only pay for me and not my partner my issue is private housing won't entertain me if I'm jobless social housing will take too long and I don't technically count as homeless I'm 29 weeks and in the midst of a very high risk pregnancy and I'm scared because the care I need from the hospital in the main city is crucial and without it my baby girl is at risk before she's even born and I need as much advice as possible because the stress of this is making me ill, side note I need to travel to this main hospital for my section anyway but all of the growth scans and treatments I need on the lead up are just as important so if anyone can help me or advise me on what to do I'd be so grateful thank you in advance!

Are you wanting to move back "just" because of the pregnancy- in which case could you short term rent / air bnb etc in the city. or are you wanting to move back because you don't like the remote area you moved to?

Can you speak to your midwife? They may be able to signpost you to services, places, charities that could help - at least in the short term until you give birth? Can you rent a room in a houseshare rather than a house just to get you nearer there during the pregnancy until you can move permanently?

So I want to move back in general after seeing how shockingly bad the care I've received here is ( a blood clot was missed and the symptoms fobbed off as normal until my heart rate went to 180 and oxygen levels beneath 90) so it's a case of something temporary is great for now but something permanent in the long run if that makes sense?

I'm going to contact them on Monday to see what I can do as I've never been in this position before I don't know who to contact as I'm not assigned to any 1 particular midwife rather a specialist consultant and I don't know how to contact them either I questioned contacting the CPN but not sure how much she can do for me either I'm really stressed about it all
