It's been a very long 3 years of ttc after not having to try at all when conceiving for my other 2 children. I've never managed to get pregnant in any cycle for the last 3 years! What I'm trying to say is I always manage to persuade myself into thinking I'm pregnant when in fact I am not. Would you think this is enough of a positive or would it just be a shadow. I've taken the photo within 2 minutes. Just for clarity it's a huge test not a covid test. Thank you all for any comments. I'm currently 3 days late. My cycle can be anywhere from 24 days to 32. From my app my cycle this time was expected to be 25 days and I'm now day 29.

Hi guys. Wanted everyone’s opinion. I have the bar implant but got a feeling to take a test and did two in the space of 3 hours. Both of them were negative for hours. Then maybe a whole day later they have these lines. I’ve been told to only take the result at the allocated time and not after as the ink can rise. What do ye think. Negative for hours but suddenly these faint lines?

I'd say test again as it's out of the allocated time.

So I just though I'd come back on here and update seeing as I haven't told anyone so don't really have anyone to talk to. But I'd had no symptoms, spotting or blood when wiping starting today, scan showed essentially an empty uterus

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's heartbreaking when this happens and they are so wanted. Sending you love

Thank you for all the kind words. My head is all over the place, would 5+2 be too early to see anything on a scan ? I know my LMP 100% but I was also told maybe I got the dates wrong. Maybe I ovulate later ? I did a test only the day before my scan and the lines had appeared darker... anyone had bleeding when wiping and still been okay ? I appreciate any insight.... the honest truth xx

This early it's possible they cannot see anything. There's still hope. 🤞🏼

BeetyAxe · 17/01/2024 07:02

It is very early, definitely possible that they wouldn’t see anything yet.

greasypolemonkeyman · 17/01/2024 12:50

I agree, it's still very very early. I was almost 7 weeks before they were sure it was a pregnancy!

FETFirstTimer · 17/01/2024 18:41

I do want to be honest and say at week 5 it was very clear on my scan. Almost like a kidney bean & there was a flicker of a heart beat. Sadly that did end in a MMC.

I hope this isn’t the case for you but I did want to offer another experience.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 17/01/2024 21:14

I went at week 5 and had to go back week 7.

Im holding out hope for you. Hospital can do tests to see if HCG is rising.

sprigatito · 17/01/2024 21:16

I had an early scan at 6 weeks because of bleeding, and was told they couldn't see anything in there. That baby is nearly 22 now. Keeping everything crossed for you Flowers

Workaholic2mum · 17/01/2024 21:45

Funnily enough I've had a call from.the booking midwife and I explained that I don't think I need an appointment anymore as the bleeding is more period like, visible in large amounts when wiping and I have to wear a panty liner. But she's informed me to see EPAU ASAP xx

@Workaholic2mum
Was it epau who scanned you? Did they offer hcg bloods? Or repeat scan at all?
Xx

Workaholic2mum · 18/01/2024 14:51

@MrsM89
It was a private scan, no referral, just asked me to contact GP as they said its too early to see and it couldn't be down tonhaving dates wrong or potentially ectopic. But I called gp and they're closed now.

@sprigatito can I ask what the bleeding was like, I understand that it's a very personal question to ask so if would like to say I understand x
