When did you start ML?

I'm 30 weeks, feeling extremely heavy, second pregnancy (toddler is 2)
I work 14 hour shifts on my feet, wake at 5 and get home at 8.30pm.
Is it unreasonable for me to consider getting signed off sick until my ML kicks in at 38 weeks?
I'm not sleeping and really struggling

I suppose I'm asking as I'm afraid people in work will judge me as others have worked far longer than me, I know every circumstance & pregnancy is different but just looking for some advice

Thank you

Nothing is unreasonable - only you know how you feel! Check your mat leave policy though, mine has a clause where if you are off sick after x amount of weeks (can't remember but in the 30s) they will just start your mat leave from there

as above put yourself first and do what’s best for you don’t worry about other people!
just be aware I work for the NHS for example and if you go off sick after 36 weeks it will trigger the start of your mat leave x

Yes as above I think most companies in force a mandatory maternity leave start at 36 weeks if you are off with pregnancy related illness.

Can you talk to your boss about any ways they can lighten the load for you? By law your work place has to carry out an individual risk assessment for you to make it's reasonable for you to do so in your condition. This should be reviewed inline with your pregnancies progression. I would ask for the most up-to-date version as HSE guidance specifically states they should alter working hours and conditions to support you. If they have not done one or you find it inadequate, Inform your union ( if you have one) or local HSE enforcement.
