I had my 12 week scan on the 29th Dec they said everything was okay and that I was low risk for downs etc. They said the blood test results would be uploaded anytime in the next 2 days. They have upload the attached but I don't really understand it to be honest!

Is there any experts willing to help?

Hi Missiomi,
Looks like a lovely healthy baby. No problems and everything as it should be. It states that you have selected to have the normal Trisomy screening (for Downs etc) and that your next scan will be due at around the 20 week mark.
Congratulations xx

All looks perfect.

Thank you both. Is the Pappa A and HCG the results from my blood test?

Not certain since I am no expert but I would expect so. Xx

@misslomi your Papp-a level is good and nothing to worry about. Low papp-a is classed as anything under 0.4 and this carries some risks so you get extra growth scans and other things.

Yours is 0.8 so nice and high, no issues. i have low papp-a this pregnancy so that's how I know, hadn't heard of it before.

Yes the hcg and Papp a are the two results from the blood test. They are always given in relation to population averages. So 1.0 would be completely average compared to other people at the same stage of pregnancy. Anything less than 1 is slightly lower than average and anything over 1 is higher then average.

Your results are very slightly lower then average (0.9 and 0.81) but they are comfortably within the healthy range - as PP has said anything below 0.4 is considered low. They also want to see that your hcg and Papp a are similar to each other - so not having one at 0.5 and one at 2.5 for example, yours are very similar range.

Your bloods combined with an NT of 3mm will certainly give you a low risk result.

Congratulations, it's a perfect result :)
