Just wanting a bit of advice, it’s been 8 years since my last baby and I’m due in around 7 weeks. I’m wondering what nappies, wipes, breast pads ect people recommend these days? I remember I always liked the Aldi newborn nappies originally but wondered how people find them now? Any recommendations are welcome as I really need to get oraganised 😊

We use the Aldi nappies and like them! Also don't mind Boots own brand ones. Boots also do good biodegradable nappy bags too. We go for any extra sensitive wipes. Congrats on the imminent arrival!

@Bozbiza my twins use Aldi nappies and never had any problems with them and we get our wet wipes from Costco if u have a membership works out to be so much cheaper and I get load more for your money also the nappies work out cheaper aswell if not then Aldi do extra large wipes I think u get like 60 in a pack

I use Aldi or Tesco nappies on my little boy - he's 5 months but still in size 1 but we've had no issues with either. Wipes I use Amazon's ones; Mama Bear sensitive, around £11 for 18 packs. I'm currently BF and was using the Lansinoh breast pads at a bit of a premium. I've tried all of the supermarket ones priced just under £2 and they're all rubbish. This week though I've found Tesco sell another type; their ultra ones at £3.70 a box - they're incredibly similar to the branded one but cheaper. I'll be using these for the foreseeable. All the best for your soon to be arrival!!

aldi nappies were best on one of mine, pampers always leaked. Another the Aldi dug in round the leg, but pampers and Tesco ones were perfect.

Wipes I use Superdrug sensitive ones, often on star buy so I stock up. Superdrug breast pads and maternity pads too.

A lot of places offer free packs of nappies for signing up eg Emma’s diary etc so it’s worth it to see what works best for your baby

If you'd consider them, reusable wipes like cheeky wipes are so much better than disposable ones

I'm using Tesco nappies and really happy with them. Tried pampers and as others have said they leak and are way more expensive x

We’ve used Aldi nappies since birth and dc is now 18 months, they’ve been great for us. Aldi wipes are also good, they do extra sensitive unscented ones which are ok to use on newborns. As NewYearNewMe said, the Lansinoh breast pads are miles better than the cheap supermarket options, I used to buy them on Amazon but will definitely give the Tesco ultra ones a try this time around!

The only thing about the lansinoh breast pads when I used to use them was they had like plastic bag type backing which used to rustle when I took them in and out 🤣 I know that’s random but it put me off them before

I've been using the Lansinoh reusable breast pads second time round. I'd really recommend them, they're much softer on the nips, no crinkly plastic backing or sticky bits

Thank you so much for all of your recommendations I really appreciate it 😊

Does anyone know which maxi cosi car seats will fit an old icandy strawberry pushchair? I’ve still got the adapters but need a new car seat and they don’t make the exact same one anymore
