20 week scan- baby's head is small? Panicking :(

Hope everyone has been enjoying the holidays <3.

I am mainly looking for reassurance/positive stories from others who have had similar measurements or experiences. I went in for my 20-week scan today, everything seemed normal except the sonographer mentioned the baby's head was slightly small (I have attached the measurements, the "BPD" is not in the normal range..). They said they were not concerned and said it was probably due to the baby being in a breech position, but then they booked me in for a rescan in 4 weeks which has worried me slightly. Has anyone had similar measurements and what was the outcome?

Hey lovely, I actually have a scan today (36 weeks) so will update after that, I had a few other complications and forgot to update this at 32 weeks, bare with me xx

Sorry it took so long to update this thread, a lot happened other than the HC measurement! I ended up with PPROM (waters went early) at 33 weeks, but managed to stay pregnant until 37 weeks when I was induced. Baby girl is here now with a small-ish but perfectly normal sized head, it actually ended up being 35th centile when she was measured at 1 day old, so all that worry was for nothing in the end! At my 36 week scan she was still measuring on the 5th centile (according to the scan) so it really may have been a positional issue!

I‘m so pleased to hear it. Huge congratulations. My little girl also arrived small but perfectly formed, induced at 38 weeks. Again, they think the low BPD measurement may well have been down to positioning. All that worry for nothing!
