Hi

I went for a scan today and am about 7 weeks but the sonographer said she could see a couple of hematomas in my womb. Because it was a private scan, she didn't say much but that i should come back in 10 days for another free scan to check on things.

I've had no spotting but did have a missed miscarriage earlier in the year so feeling a bit wobbly.

Should I get in touch with EPAU or my GP about progesterone? should I be on bed rest? I feel a bit lost.

Hi, I have a hematoma since 6weeks currently 10w. I was prescribed progesterone but I do have spotting as well and it’s a twin pregnancy, no bedrest advised although I did put myself on pelvic rest just in case and I’m a bit more cautious with my activity.
Just had a scan with Epu today and they reassured me that I shouldn’t worry as it’s measuring small.
I would advise to get in touch with them and check it out just to be in the safe place.
In general hematomas are not very dangerous especially if small.

i hope you have a happy and easy pregnancy🫶🏻

Thank you @CB2805 . GP spoke with the OBGYN and they’ve prescribed Cyclogest just to be on the safe side. Did you find it better marginally or rectally? Or did you have injections?

@SunSparkle i was prescribed oral tablets which tbh im glad. Cyclogest can get messy down there and with my increased discharge and spotting wasn’t a great idea (sorry tmi).
But when I had to used them in the past, rectally was the best choice for me.
