Bit paranoid here! I’m 35w 2days, I turn 37 weeks the day after my DS’ birthday which has been on my mind a lot as I don’t want to have baby 2 on or just before/after his baby if possible

(side note: this baby wasn’t planned before people say “should’ve thought about this” etc lol!)

I had an ELCS due to DS’ size, I’m booked in again as DS was big for early, and this baby is measuring that way. So booked for 39 weeks

However, the past week or so I’ve had like on and off period cramps, loose stools, random nausea, ‘lightening crotch’ And I am drained

i mentioned this to friends when meeting up for a coffee and they all are convinced I’ll go into labour and not get to my ELCS date

are these all symptoms that things could start in the next few weeks? I never went into labour with DS, but I remember feeling like this a few days before my. C section so I was like 38 weeks feeling like this

If it were me I'd be making sure I had everything ready just in case😁

@Devilsmommy Oh dear 😩

while I am so excited to meet baby2, I feel Christmas then DS birthday all within a week makes it feel like a field of dates I want to dodge going into labour🤦🏻‍♀️😂

If only there was a "keep baby inside" hack🤣🤣🤣 hopefully you get through Xmas no trouble, will keep fingers 🤞 for you

Hopefully baby stays put for you!
If it's any consolation I was like this from 36 weeks with my DD2 and she was born at 41+2! Everyone including the midwife were convinced she'd be early.

Sounds very normal third trimester. Lightning crotch and cramps are normal as baby moves down into the pelvis, this can also cause nausea and loose stools as can the change in hormones towards the end of pregnancy. These could come and go or stay until the end, doesn’t mean labour is near. Obviously if you get contractions or loose your mucus plug then contact them, but otherwise I wouldn’t worry too much.
