Nausea help

I’m sure this topic has been done to death on here but I’m hoping for some advice please. I’m 7+2 and have suffered from nausea for around 2 weeks now. I’ve only actually been sick a handful of times and am able to keep food and drinks down. (I know so many people have it much worse and are being sick many many times a day, unable to keep anything down so I understand I’m lucky in that regard)

I feel nauseous 24/7 and the only way to describe it is feeling motion sick all day every day. I feel slightly better when I’m eating.

I was prescribed cyclazine (3 tablets per day) which doesn’t seem to be helping. It’s also making me drowsy so the tiredness with the nausea is making me miserable.

I’ve tried ginger tea, ginger biscuits, eating little and often etc. Whilst it provides a tiny bit of relief, it’s not enough to make me actually feel any better.

Does anyone have any other tips for me or know if there is anything else the GP could prescribe me to help with this awful feeling? Thanks

I remember the awful nausea with both children until about 13 weeks. I didn't get medication though so not sure about this route. The only think that helped was rest, plenty of it. Hopefully your nausea will lift by the 2nd trimester.

Thanks @Tiredbehyondbelief, I feel like I need so much rest! Unfortunately I’m super busy at work with a huge work load so am unable to rest when I want to. I’d love to just take a week off and sleep!!! Luckily I’ve been able to get lots of rest today, but still feeling super nauseous

I found wearing the sea sickness acupressure bands all day helped to lessen my nausea. Didn’t get rid of it completely but definitely made it more bearable to sit at work all day.

I still get nausea from lunch to dinner and the only things that help are a little random. I respond to seaweed (Itsu seaweed from Tesco), as well as anti-sickness mints from Amazon (Myrtle and Maude Queasy Days), they are high in B12 (and Iodine for seaweed) and B6 vitamins so I think that must be why my body craves them.

It is a little strange for a suggestion, but it might work for you too…

I could have written this exact message but I’m only 6 weeks so have only been putting up with it for a few days so far.
I have no advice I’m afraid but keen to hear what other people are suggesting!
