Just that really?? I can't make any sense of it, it doesn't say where it is and when I google "HCA NIRHD ACWH" it basically comes up with nonsense with isn't applicable to me... someone has mentioned HCA role could be a blood test but unsure what I'd need one for this early on?

I had gestational diabetes in my previous pregnancy, but I'll only be 15 weeks on the 18th could it be a blood test for that?

My 15 week midwife appt is on the 19th at my gp where theyl be repeating bloods from booking appt so I doubt it's for those 15 week tests...

I had my 12 week scan and screening bloods 11 days ago and not heard anything back yet.

I'm also O- but again, don't recall any intervention regarding that until the 3rd trimester...

The appt on the 14th is with the mental health midwife incase anyone's wondering.

Anyone had this appt before on their notes? Its baffling me as it doesn't even tell me where it's based😅 as u can prob tell I hate being in the dark about things... it's been 6 years since my last pregnancy, I've forgotten alot!

Thanks 🫶

HCA could be healthcare assistant (ie that’s who the appt is with)

ACWH - antenatal clinic, Women’s Hospital? (going by the other lines)

No idea about NIRHD, sorry.

@piglet81 thank you! All's I could gather was healthcare assistant. Antenatal clinic womens hospital also makes sense, as for the middle one no idea either... you'd think they'd make it a little more clear eh! I'll give them an ask at my mental health appt on the 14th! Thanks x

If you’re rhesus negative I would wonder if it’s ffdna testing to see if you need Anti-d offered this time or if you have a rhesus negative baby on board :) my old trust used to do it around 15 weeks?

Doughdog · 08/12/2023 18:40

If you had diabetes in a previous pregnancy they would aim to do a GTT by 16 weeks in a subsequent pregnancy. It is probably that but they should be keeping you informed. You would need to fast prior to that test so someone should be giving you clear information. Can you call MAU or maternity triage or your community midwives?

PurBal · 08/12/2023 18:43

My trust labelled all the appointments the same thing. So I had my scans, routine appointments, perinatal mental health appointments, pelvic floor and obstetrics appointments all come through as “midwife”. I literally had 5 appointments in 2 days. And I went to one and the midwife said “so why are you here?” And when I said I wasn’t sure she went to find out and no one had any clue either. Also had an appointment time change but they couldn’t tell me which appointment had been moved so they had to go through every booked appointment so I could work out which one I no longer needed to attend.

@Iwouldlikesomecake yeah that's the only other thing I can think of really! If not GD related then maybe due to being O-... I can't remember much from my 1st pregnancy, all I remember is having anti D injections not long before giving birth and not long after. Maybe I did have a related appt around 15 weeks also? Head like a sieve it all went too fast with my 1st 😅 in my head my next appts were my 15 week then 20 week scan! Then I had a text earlier about a mental health appt with midwife, went on to check my notes and seen that for the 18th and thought eh, this is new?... I guess we will see! Thank you x

@Doughdog ah okay! Google's been telling me 26 weeks for gtt but yes I did have it with my previous pregnancy, it was also found pretty late as they were reluctant to test me due to being "too thin for diabetes" despite symptoms... low and behold I did have it. Yes I think I will give them a call. Thank you x

@PurBal sounds a nightmare! Thankfully they've all been pretty clear up until now. If it wasn't for someone's previous reply i wouldn't have had the foggiest that it is likely based at "Antenatal Clinic Womens Hopsital" 😒

Neuro-Inflammatory and Related Health Disorders? Not sure if that would be applicable to you? Just trying to think of anything

Confusion98 · 09/12/2023 08:24

@Catson not that I know of :/ hope not anyway that sounds scary 😅

I've just realised RHD stands for rhesus disease, with being O- i wonder if it is indeed related to that.. still unsure about NI though. I can't get through to antenatal clinic due to it being a weekend so hopefully I'll get something in the post about it. I guess it could also be the HCAs first or last name also 😅 I absolutely HATE being left in the dark about appointments... perks of health anxiety.

In healthcare NI generally means non invasive. Think it could be a RHD blood test!

Sirrah · 10/12/2023 12:54

My daughter had the Rhesus blood test around 16 weeks, so it probably is that.

Confusion98 · 11/12/2023 13:03

@Couggstar123 yes! Just had letter "Non-invasive RHD testing" 😅

It confused me as I'm sure with my 1st 6 years ago this wasn't a thing, or at least it wasn't with my trust and I was given anti d as precaution 🤔

It’s a new thing within 6 years for sure :) my old Trust was one of the first to do it and that was just before the pandemic x
