Those of you that have had an elective C Section

Could I ask those of you who have had an elective C section, when did you get your date? I’ve been told the section will be in week 39 but I’m just wondering how much notice I’ll get? I’m worried I’ll go into labour beforehand as previous baby was born at 39 weeks!

I was given my date (November) in August! I had a long time to prepare!

So interesting that you’ve all had different experiences! Must be different for each trust. I guess I’ll just sit and wait for either a phone call or letter then. Thank you again for your responses

My water broke before my date each time and they just admitted me early.
